One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

WHAT A WONDERFUL POST.
IT IS A GREAT REMINDER TO US ALL TO ENJOY EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY WITH OUR LOVED ONES , AND TO REMEMBER THAT WE ARE NEVER ALONE.
I HATE TRIALS ALTHOUGH I KNOW THAT WE COME THROUGH THE OTHER SIDE MUCH STRONGER SPIRITUALLY.
TESTIMONIES GROW AND OUR LOVE AND CONCERN FOR OTHERS IS MAGNIFIED.
THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO LEARN AND GROW FROM THE EXPERIENCE AND NOT HAVE IT BE FOR NOTHING.
KARMINDY IS GOING TO DO JUST FINE.
SHE HAS SO MANY FASTING AND PRAYING FOR HER.
WE LOVE YOU ALL!
I love this post! So well said. I'm glad that you value your time with your precious children. Like you said, you always have enjoyed being with them, but its just a little better. What perspective our trials give us! Sometimes I'll be going through something tough and think, "What am I supposed to learn from this? I don't get it!" Amazingly enough I do get it, eventually, just usually not on my time-table. What patience I still have to learn! I am so grateful for your example to me and your wonderful insight in life. You make me want to be a better mother, so thank you for that!!
