After we let the kids check out their Easter Baskets on Saturday morning, we got ready and headed to the city park to go to the Easter Egg hunt. We didn't make it on time and missed it. Just as we were driving into the parking lot we noticed everybody making a huge dash onto the field. We were a little bummed (Kaleb especially) but were glad we weren't out in the cold weather. It actually started raining as we were driving out of the parking lot. To make it up to Kaleb, Mark and I told him that we would have our own Easter Egg hunt in our back yard. Kaleb forgot all about the City Egg hunt and bugged us all morning by asking when we were going to have our own egg hunt. We waited till early afternoon to have our egg hunt because it was a little drizzly outside. Mark was a great dad and filled some eggs with candy and moneys and hid some eggs outside for Kaleb. Kaleb seemed to enjoy himself and didn't mind having missed the City Egg hunt. Here are a few pictures of Kaleb finding his sports eggs!
After our Egg hunt, we came inside to get warm and had a little picnic lunch by our fireplace in the living room. It was fun even though it was a little unusual to be inside on an Easter Day. We are so used to being outside enjoying the warm St. George weather during our Easter Weekends!!
After Lunch, we went to work on coloring sparkly eggs with dye and glitter! Karmindy even tried to help pull the garbage bag off the table that had all the dye sitting on it in cups! She is such a big helper!! It is a good thing Mark and I have quicker hands than she does. It would've been a big mess!
