Let's Go Fly a Kite...

One thing about Northern Utah weather is that it can be completely unpredictable. We get the weirdest weather here in Riverton, Utah! One minute it is hot sunny calm day and then the next minute it is cold, windy, rainy and snowy one. Go figure! On one of those completely unpredictable days, the wind was just a blowing. Instead of sitting inside and sulking that we didn't have good evening weather to enjoy, we decided that after dinner that we would take Kalebs dragon kite out in our back yard and fly it. We had fun trying to get it up in the air but we weren't too successful! We decided that flying kites are not are strong suits. Our excuse at not getting the kite air born was that there was serious lack of wind between ours and our backdoor neighbors. Next time we will walk to the nearby park to try and get our Dragon kite to fly, that way we get a strong air current and not have the barrier of the houses around us!!
